Krasnodar plant of a metalwork continues modernisation of Its production fleet

Krasnodar plant of a metalwork has commissioned a high-technology production line for laser cutting of I-beams and sheet steel — the Senfeng SF 1500CH — as part of a comprehensive technical re-equipment programme. The power output is 30 kW. The new equipment has reduced the cutting time for structural and circular tubes, as well as I-beams, by 40–60%. The Senfeng SF 1500CH delivers clean cuts without burrs and without the need for subsequent mechanical finishing, maintains the strength characteristics of the metal, and ensures high geometric repeatability even with complex cutting contours.

Stainless steel, aluminium, carbon steel and galvanised steel — the new unit works with a wide range of metals, as noted by KZM. "Our goal is not simply to increase capacity, but to create added value for each customer. The new laser cutting line is a tool that enables us to respond more swiftly to market demands, implement complex engineering tasks and strengthen KZM's position as a reliable partner in metal processing," said A. Korchagin, Production Director of KZM.
KZM will present its metal products at the International Specialised Exhibition SteelStructures'2026, to be held on May 26–28 in Moscow at Timiryazev Centre.
