Metal-Expo at EuroShop'2017

Metal-Expo Management attended EuroShop'2017, International Exhibition in Dusseldorf, Germany.

EuroShop'2017 organized by Messe Dusseldorf, a partner of Metal-Expo is focused on the latest solutions to the exhibition industry and exhibition stands construction.

Among other business lines Metal-Expo also develops customer stands construction using the latest trends in the exhibition stands design.

Thus, at the last Metal-Expo show the bureau designed and built expositions for such steel producers and traders as TMK, Zagorsk Pipe Works, Alfa-Metal, Leader-M, Art-Metal, Olimpia-80, China First Heavy Industries and many more.

VTZ introduces new technology to improve stainless steel production efficiency

Volzhsky Pipe Plant, a branch of Pipe Metallurgical Company, has introduced a new technology to improve the efficiency of stainless steel production. The innovation helps to recover greater quantities of high-value alloying elements from scrap metal and to utilise raw materials more efficiently. Thanks to the new technology, it has become possible to more effectively recover residual chromium, nickel and molybdenum from high-alloy scrap. The number of "flushing" heats required to clean the furnace and steel casting ladles has also been reduced. The new scheme reduces ferroalloy consumption and improves the profitability of stainless steel rolled products output, as noted by TMK.
