NLMK Group will talk about new trends in the construction of real estate on a steel frame and from light steel thin-walled structures.

NLMK Group will take part in the exhibition "SteelStructures'2023", which will be held  June 6 - 8 at Expocentre Fairgrounds. At NLMK's stand, it will be possible to learn about new trends in the construction of residential and commercial real estate on a steel frame and from light steel thin-walled structures. The company's employees will tell about the features of the galvanized rolled products of the Group, which provides the metal frame with the required strength and durability, and will show a video about the advantages of building frame buildings.

A rental with an antibacterial coating on a hot-dip galvanized basis will be given special attention. A feature of this premium product is the virtually complete (more than 90%) destruction of the cell membrane of a number of pathogenic and conditionally pathogenic bacteria and fungi settling on the surface of the premises. Therefore, rental with antibacterial coating is recommended for interior decoration of food, pharmaceutical industry, as well as in medical institutions.

NLMK Group is one of the key suppliers of metal products for the construction industry: in addition to galvanized and polymer—coated rolled products, the company provides partners with hot-rolled and long-rolled products, as well as hardware products. Booklets and catalogs for each type of rental will be presented at the company's stand. You can also get acquainted with the company's metal products for the construction sector on the product page.

VTZ introduces new technology to improve stainless steel production efficiency

Volzhsky Pipe Plant, a branch of Pipe Metallurgical Company, has introduced a new technology to improve the efficiency of stainless steel production. The innovation helps to recover greater quantities of high-value alloying elements from scrap metal and to utilise raw materials more efficiently. Thanks to the new technology, it has become possible to more effectively recover residual chromium, nickel and molybdenum from high-alloy scrap. The number of "flushing" heats required to clean the furnace and steel casting ladles has also been reduced. The new scheme reduces ferroalloy consumption and improves the profitability of stainless steel rolled products output, as noted by TMK.
