Lipetskprofil to showcase cutting-edge solutions at SteelStructures’2025 exhibition

Lipetskprofil, one of the leading Russian manufacturers of building steel structures, will take part in the international specialized exhibition SteelStructures’2025, which will be held from June 3 to 5 at the Timiryazev Center in Moscow. This marks the company's third participation in the event. This year, Lipetskprofil will exhibit at a joint booth with its partners — manufacturers of envelope structures.

As part of the exhibition, Lipetskprofil will present its new product — light-gauge steel frame systems (LGSF). This technology significantly reduces construction time and costs, while ensuring high precision, strength, and quick adaptability to climatic and architectural requirements. Lipetskprofil’s LGSF frames are already being used in the construction of warehouse and industrial facilities in Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh, Tula, Bryansk, and Moscow.

The company notes a steady growth in demand for prefabricated structures in Russia and neighboring countries. Its objective is to provide the client with a turnkey solution, from design to delivery of finished modules. LGSF frames represent not just metal, but architectural logic, convenience, and speed.

The company’s production facilities are capable of manufacturing up to 40,000 tons of profiled sheet metal and over 10,000 tons of LGSF structures annually. All products are manufactured on automated European production lines.

The booth will also feature samples of premium-grade trapezoidal sheet profiles ranging from 44 mm to 157 mm in height. High profiles of 114–157 mm are used as structural bases in reinforced industrial designs, while lower profiles of 44–75 mm are intended for roofing, façades, and fencing systems. Among the exhibits will be insulated envelope structures that enable the creation of integrated architectural and engineering systems, which are particularly in demand in logistics, agricultural, and commercial real estate sectors.

The company emphasizes that it offers not just material, but a complete system — from design and framing to envelope structures. This approach is convenient for customers, saves resources, and reduces the number of contractors required on site.

A special program for exhibition visitors includes an open discussion on the design and application of LGSF systems under various climatic and regulatory conditions, recommendations on structural joints, and free structural calculations.

The company invites all attendees to visit booth No. 1E17 in the Vavilov Hall from June 3 to 5, from 10:00 to 18:00.

VTZ introduces new technology to improve stainless steel production efficiency

Volzhsky Pipe Plant, a branch of Pipe Metallurgical Company, has introduced a new technology to improve the efficiency of stainless steel production. The innovation helps to recover greater quantities of high-value alloying elements from scrap metal and to utilise raw materials more efficiently. Thanks to the new technology, it has become possible to more effectively recover residual chromium, nickel and molybdenum from high-alloy scrap. The number of "flushing" heats required to clean the furnace and steel casting ladles has also been reduced. The new scheme reduces ferroalloy consumption and improves the profitability of stainless steel rolled products output, as noted by TMK.
